East Midlands businesses celebrate success
The latest edition of Newslink Extra has hit the
streets and as usual is packed full of useful business
information. The publication highlights the support
available to help the region's businesses develop and features
a lively mix of real life case studies about local businesses that
are making the most of the regional Business Link service to
survive and thrive during the current economic downturn.
Articles in the publication highlight the diverse range of
entrepreneurs within the East Midlands'
economy including those working in key sectors, city
and rural local locations, specialist and minority areas,
start ups and established businesses.
This Spring 09 edition of Newslink Extra was launched on the
regional Business Link website by Stephen Smith, Chief Executive of
EMB Ltd, the organisation that delivers the Business Link service
on behalf of East Midlands Development Agency (emda).
He said, "We aim to provide a joined up, impartial
business support network that is effectively delivered and
working in close harmony with emda to bring access
to real business benefits to the businesses that use the
service.
We recognise and acknowledge the importance of
making information and advice even more accessible
to those wanting to start, maintain or grow their business
during difficult economic conditions. Newslink Extra not
only highlights the help and support available, it also
celebrates local success stories. "
